Active Investment Company Alliance to Convene Closed-End Fund, BDC and Interval Fund Leaders on Wall Street November 11; Opens 10 Complimentary Press Passes
EmitenTrust.com 8th Annual AICA Fall Roundtable follows ICI's Retail Alternatives & Closed-End Funds Conference, completing a two-day New York fund week for advisors, allocators and the financial press
NEW YORK, Oct. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Active Investment Company Alliance, the 501(c)(6) nonprofit trade association for listed closed-end funds, business development companies, interval funds and tender offer funds, will host its 8th Annual New York Roundtable on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at 48 Wall Street. The full-day program runs from 8:00 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. and closes with a two-hour networking reception.
The program includes seven panels, a keynote address and a closing Lightning Round, with more than 35 invited speakers and moderators. AICA expects 120 to 140 attendees, including financial advisors, RIAs, family offices, institutional allocators, fund sponsors, analysts and service providers. Six hours of CE credit are pending approval.
AICA invites every speaker for their expertise; speaking roles cannot be purchased. "The questions that matter most to investors in these structures right now don't have easy answers," said John Cole Scott, founder and Executive Chairman of AICA. "Why are listed BDCs trading where they are? What does the Saba decision change for CEF governance? How should advisors think about liquidity in a semi-liquid fund? We invite people who can discuss these questions candidly, and we hold the event the day after ICI so the industry, investors and press can cover both in one trip."
Program Highlights (agenda subject to change)
- Welcome and The Market in Charts: discounts versus history, yields, flows, corporate actions, and where institutional and activist capital is moving.
- Credit Crossroads: Loans, CLOs, High Yield and Munis: value across senior loans, CLO debt and equity, high yield and municipal bonds; leverage and distribution coverage.
- Mispricing or Warning? BDC Investors and Analysts: whether listed BDC discounts reflect credit risk or headlines about AI and software exposure, and how to separate stronger managers from weaker ones.
- The CEF Structure After Saba: Activism, Governance and Discounts: what the Supreme Court decision means for activism, boards, tender offers, distribution policy and mergers.
- The $460 Billion Question: Interval Funds, Tender Offer Funds and Non-Listed BDCs: due diligence, liquidity and redemption limits, valuation practices, and setting investor expectations.
- Private Markets, Public Wrappers: Listed, Interval or Converted?
- Powering AI: Energy Infrastructure and Real Assets
- How Investors and Allocators Use CEFs, BDCs and Interval Funds
- Lightning Round: Tax-Loss Season and 2027 Picks: two-minute pitches from investors and analysts, followed by an audience vote.
The full speaker lineup will be announced in the coming weeks. Each moderator will reserve time for audience questions. Panels will be recorded and, subject to participant compliance approval, posted on the AICA event page after the conference.
