EmitenTrust.com New enterprise-scale cloud platform connects client data and workflows while preserving the operational capabilities firms already rely on

HOLMDEL, N.J., Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Docupace, the premier provider of back-office software to streamline operations and ensure the compliance of wealth management enterprises and financial advisors, today announced the availability of Docupace Next 1.0, the next generation of its Wealth Operations Platform. Built as a modern, enterprise-scale cloud platform, Docupace Next introduces a new data architecture and user experience designed to improve efficiency, accountability, scalability, and give firms a foundation for new agentic capabilities.

The launch represents a major step in Docupace's evolution. Docupace Next creates a common technology foundation for future development while delivering meaningful improvements to customers today.

Connecting client data is central to the Docupace Next platform, which is built around reusable contact records and structured relationships. Firms can enter or synchronize information once and use it as a universal client master across custodians, accounts, workflows, documents, and connected systems. This is the "Capture It Once, Use It Everywhere" concept that centralizes data and saves financial advisors time.

"Docupace Next is a significant milestone for our platform and for our customers," said Brian Filanowski, CEO of Docupace. "We have built a modern enterprise foundation with client data at its core, which brings together everything we have learned over nearly 25 years of serving wealth management firms. It improves how information moves through wealth operations today and gives us a strong foundation to build on. Customers keep the workflows and operational capabilities they rely on, and gain a more connected way to manage their data and serve their clients."

Trusted Capabilities for Wealth Operations

The underlying data architecture of Docupace Next supports a range of new capabilities across every wealth operations activity, including:

  • One client record across accounts: A Contact can be associated with multiple accounts, allowing information to be maintained centrally and reused across the platform.
  • Reusable relationships: Beneficiaries, trusted contacts and authorized individuals can be maintained as Related Contacts and reused across accounts and workflows.
  • Consolidated e-signature: Documents associated with multiple work items can be combined into a single signing packet, reducing the number of separate signing requests clients receive.
  • Guided account opening: Guided experiences for Pershing, NFS and Axos use structured data to support account-opening processes and form generation.
  • Expanded integration capabilities: Docupace Next connects with custodians, CRMs and other wealth management systems, and offers a public GraphQL API for developers.
  • Surveillance and compliance oversight: Industry-leading supervision and monitoring tools help firms meet regulatory obligations and maintain a defensible record of oversight activity.

Docupace Next builds on a platform proven at enterprise scale. In 2025, 2.8 million accounts were opened on the Docupace platform, 17 million work items processed, 655 million documents stored, with a low 1.7% NIGO rate across the platform. A total of  21.8 million data elements were captured without rekeying in 2025 and 198,000 hours saved on client data gathering in 2025. There are now more than 440,000 users on the platform.

Modernizing Without Rebuilding

For existing customers, Docupace Next is designed as an evolution of the platform rather than a rip-and-replace experience.

Core operational capabilities and investments customers have made in Docupace – including workflows, document history, surveillance and compliance controls and established operational processes – carry forward to the new platform. Existing workflows do not need to be rebuilt as part of the transition. Customers gain a recognizable operational foundation, but with a more modern user experience and a more connected data architecture.

Docupace Next is hosted on AWS and built using modern cloud infrastructure designed for enterprise scale and security. The platform establishes a common technology and data foundation that will enable Docupace to continue bringing capabilities together and developing new experiences over time including AI-driven capabilities and the integration of agents that can work alongside advisors and operations teams. Because client data is structured and connected in one place, those agents can act on accurate, current information from the start.
