EmitenTrust.com New feature releases are organized around three strategic actions that create a more connected, intelligent planning experience: filling the plan effortlessly, making the plan think, and putting intelligence everywhere

RADNOR, Pa., Oct. 19, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- eMoney Advisor ("eMoney"), a leading provider of technology solutions and services that help people talk about money, today presented its product roadmap and vision to more than 1,400 financial professionals during the 2026 eMoney Summit, taking place virtually through Oct. 21.

eMoney presented its product roadmap and vision to more than 1,400 financial professionals at the 2026 eMoney Summit.

eMoney CEO Susan McKenna delivered opening remarks on how eMoney is powering what's possible for advisors, clients and the future of financial planning, highlighting the business momentum and product adoption. In the past year, more than 6,000 new users and 500,000 households were added to the eMoney platform.

"Powering what's possible is about helping advisors spend less time managing complexity and more time delivering meaningful outcomes. By combining innovative technology with the human expertise clients value most, we're helping firms deepen relationships, scale their impact and bring the benefits of financial planning to more people," McKenna said.

Building on that vision, Head of Product Tom Sullivan then joined Senior Vice President of Product Management Chad Porche to share eMoney's product vision and roadmap centered on "always-on planning," where connected data, intelligent analysis and advisor expertise work together to continuously monitor and adapt to changes in a client's financial life.

"Financial lives change every day, but planning systems have traditionally worked in moments," said Sullivan. "Our vision for always-on planning is to help advisors move beyond periodic reviews by creating a planning experience that continuously evolves alongside a client's financial life. By combining trusted planning intelligence, connected data and advisor expertise, we're helping firms identify opportunities sooner, deliver more proactive guidance, and deepen client relationships."

Product Roadmap and Vision

eMoney's roadmap is organized around three strategic actions that create a more connected, intelligent planning experience: filling the plan effortlessly, making the plan think, and putting intelligence everywhere.

Fill the Plan Effortlessly

To improve efficiency and eliminate manual work, eMoney is expanding the ways advisors and clients can bring information into the planning process. New and upcoming capabilities include:

  • Financial Assessment: Released in September 2026, the new prospecting tool for Premium Client Portal users allows prospects and clients to gain personalized financial insights through a guided digital experience, creating an accessible entry point into financial planning.

  • Lead Capture: Expected in December for Premium Client Portal users, Lead Capture gives advisors a simple way to begin engaging prospects before they enter a formal planning relationship through an interactive experience that can be shared directly or embedded on firm websites.

  • Document Processing: Launching in December, Document Processing transforms client documents into trusted planning data by automatically extracting, mapping and validating information from financial documents such as W-2s and investment statements.

"Advisors told us they want to spend less time gathering and reconciling data and more time helping clients make informed decisions," said Porche. "Everything in this area of our roadmap is designed to reduce administrative burden and create a faster path to meaningful planning conversations."

Make the Plan Think

eMoney is expanding its intelligent planning capabilities that help advisors identify opportunities and generate actionable recommendations. Key roadmap updates include:

  • CoPlanner: Launched earlier this year, CoPlanner has created more than 165,000 draft plans and saved advisors nearly a quarter to half of their planning time. Expanded capabilities are expected in 2027, including CoPlanner Chat.

  • Smart Presentation Templates and Narratives: Earlier this year, eMoney launched Smart Presentation Templates to help CoPlanner turn recommendations into client-ready presentations. Building on that capability in 2027, personalized client Narratives help advisors clearly explain report insights, why they matter, and how they align with a client's goals.

  • Tax Analysis: Currently in beta, Tax Analysis uses document intelligence to analyze a client's tax return and supporting schedules, generating structured summaries and surfacing opportunities such as qualified charitable distributions, tax-efficient giving strategies and potential IRMAA considerations.

  • Healthcare Expense Planning and Qualified Charitable Distribution Modeling: New modeling capabilities scheduled for release before year-end will help advisors estimate healthcare costs in retirement and evaluate charitable giving strategies.

  • Estate Analysis: Planned for next year, Estate Analysis will help advisors translate wills and trusts into actionable planning insights through estate flowcharts, trust summaries, family trees and planning reports.

  • Portfolio Analytics: Expected to enter beta next year, Portfolio Analytics will integrate investment analysis directly into the planning experience, allowing advisors to evaluate portfolio changes in the context of client goals, taxes and retirement outcomes.

Put Intelligence Everywhere

Recognizing that planning insights deliver the greatest value when embedded in advisor workflows, eMoney continues to drive innovation through new technologies that extend planning intelligence beyond the financial plan itself. Highlights planned for 2027 include:

  • Model Context Protocol (MCP) Framework: A new framework designed to make eMoney's planning intelligence securely available in the systems, workflows and AI-powered experiences firms already use.

  • Developer Site MCP: New tools and resources that help firms and technology partners build integrations and AI-powered workflows more efficiently.

  • eMoney MCP: A secure framework that enables approved systems and agents to access eMoney planning capabilities while maintaining governance, auditability and control.

"Planning intelligence should not live in a single screen," added Sullivan. "Our goal is to make planning insights available wherever advisors are working, helping them act on opportunities faster while continuing to rely on the trusted planning engine at the core of eMoney."

By reducing manual work, surfacing opportunities proactively and making planning insights more accessible, eMoney is helping firms deliver advice that is more personalized, scalable and impactful.

Summit Experience

Day 1 continued with a panel discussion moderated by Connor Sung, vice president of practice management. He spoke with three eMoney clients about how they deliver better financial planning experiences:

  • Chuck Failla, CFP®, founder and CEO, Sovereign Advisors
  • Jennifer Baick, MBA, CFP®, CDFA®, vice president, Financial Planning Group, Mercer Advisors
  • Erik Evans, CFP®, founder, GoalQuest Advisors

"The advisor's job is moving away from answering questions, and it's getting more into helping a client make sense of it all," said Evans. "Ultimately, we have to be able to make recommendations and communicate them clearly to the client. That's the leverage technology brings to the table."

Later today, attendees can connect with industry leader Michael Kitces during an interactive "Ask Me Anything" session in the networking lounge.

Additional Summit highlights include keynotes from Neil Pasricha, bestselling author and happiness expert, and Zack Kass, former Head of Go-to-Market for OpenAI; 1:1 coaching with eMoney experts; sponsor breakouts; and CFP ® Continuing Education sessions covering retirement and legacy planning, tax and estate strategies, client engagement, insurance, equity compensation, and practical approaches to helping advisors deliver stronger client outcomes.

The 2026 eMoney Summit is sponsored by Fidelity, Allianz Life, Wealth.com and Zocks.
