SEATTLE and LOS ANGELES, Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Signature Estate & Investment Advisors (SEIA), a national wealth management firm managing more than $36 billion in assets, and Invent, a data and technology platform for the wealth management industry, today announced a strategic partnership to unify SEIA's enterprise data and support the firm's broader artificial intelligence strategy.

Through the collaboration, SEIA has consolidated data from multiple custodians, business lines and technology platforms into a single, governed data foundation. The new environment has improved the firm's reporting capabilities, reduced its reliance on legacy software and freed technical resources to focus on higher-value initiatives.

The unified data environment created by Invent's platform provides the data foundation that powers "SEIA Brain," the firm's proprietary AI framework supporting its broader AI strategy. SEIA Brain is being developed to help employees across marketing, sales, finance, operations and compliance securely access information, automate routine workflows and uncover insights using natural-language interactions.

"AI is creating tremendous opportunities across wealth management, but its long-term value depends on having the right data foundation in place," said Matt Matrisian, President of SEIA. "As our firm continues to grow, we're investing in the infrastructure that allows us to scale intelligently, improve how our advisors and employees access and use information, and continue enhancing the experience we provide to clients. Our work with Invent is an important step in that journey."

Addressing a Common Wealth Management Data Challenge

Like many large and growing wealth management organizations, SEIA manages data across multiple custodians, its advisory and broker-dealer businesses, and its in-house turnkey asset management platform, while supporting multiple advisor affiliation models. Information from those sources arrived in different formats and at different intervals, requiring significant manual work to clean, reconcile and prepare for reporting.

Some reporting periods contained incomplete information, while inconsistent delivery schedules made it difficult to create a timely and comprehensive view of the business.

Previously, SEIA manually ingested custodial data and routed it through its CRM and third-party reporting environment. The process lacked standardized connectors and a systematic data-cleansing structure, placing additional demands on the firm's technology team.

Working together, SEIA and Invent created a governed data lake that consolidates information from its custodial relationships and business lines into a single source of truth. The platform progressively validates, standardizes and enriches the data before it is made available for reporting, analytics and future AI applications.

"Data fragmentation is one of the most significant barriers preventing wealth management firms from fully benefiting from analytics, automation and AI," said Oleg Tishkevich, Founder and CEO of Invent. "SEIA recognized that an effective AI strategy does not begin with a chatbot or an isolated use case. It begins with trusted, governed data. The infrastructure SEIA has established will allow the firm to pursue innovation in a deliberate, scalable and responsible way."

Expanding Reporting Capabilities Across the Firm

With the unified data environment in place, SEIA deployed Invent's Report Builder, configurable widgets and micro-applications to replace its previous reporting environment.

Authorized users can now create, publish, filter, sort and export dynamic reports without relying on third-party reporting specialists or placing every request in the technology team's queue. The change has accelerated report creation, reduced legacy software expenses and enabled SEIA's technical professionals to devote more time to the firm's long-term technology strategy.

"We have made report building faster, more flexible and more accessible to the people who understand the business questions behind the data," said Advait Kulkarni, Senior Vice President of Technology Operations at SEIA. "Instead of depending on outside reporting experts for every request, our teams have tools they can use to explore information and create the reports they need. That gives our technology resources more capacity to focus on the initiatives that will advance the firm."

Establishing the Foundation for the "SEIA Brain"

SEIA is now building upon the same governed data environment to support natural-language and agentic AI capabilities. The long-term vision for "SEIA Brain" is to create a central intelligence system where employees across the firm can ask questions, retrieve information and complete routine tasks through natural-language requests.

Initial use cases include enabling employees to retrieve role-specific information, generate reports on demand and schedule recurring reports for automatic delivery. For example, an employee could ask whether a proposed outside business activity requires compliance approval and receive an immediate response based on the firm's policies, or request that a business report be generated and distributed automatically at a specified interval.

Over time, the "SEIA Brain" is expected to become a common and trusted intelligence layer across the organization, helping employees surface relevant information, automate routine workflows and interact with firm data through natural-language and eventually voice-based interfaces.
