Investissement Québec Sells Its Stake in Transoceanic Investments Inc.
EmitenTrust.com QUÉBEC CITY, Sept. 23, 2026 /CNW/ -- Investissement Québec ("IQ") announced today that it sold, on September 22, 2026, its entire stake in Transoceanic Investments Inc. (the "Issuer").
The transaction involved the direct sale of 13,706,294 common shares and the indirect sale of 3,314,917 common shares held through the Capital Resources and Energy Fund, which is managed by Investissement Québec. In total, 17,021,211 common shares were sold, representing approximately 10.05% of the Issuer's outstanding common shares.
Immediately prior to the transaction, IQ beneficially owned and exercised control or direction over these 17,021,211 common shares. Following completion of the transaction, IQ no longer owns, directly or indirectly, any shares of the Issuer.
The common shares were sold in order to monetize IQ's investment in the Issuer. The transaction was completed through a registered securities broker as part of a pre-arranged transaction on the TSX Venture Exchange. The 17,021,211 common shares were sold at a price of $0.065 per share, for aggregate gross proceeds of $1,106,379.
