Mole Street to Co-Present with HubSpot at Money20/20 USA, Bringing New Research on Why Financial Services Growth Is Stalling Inside the Firm
EmitenTrust.com The Elite HubSpot Solutions Partner will unpack findings from The State of Financial Services Growth, a survey of 270 U.S. financial services leaders, at a hosted breakfast session on October 20 at The Venetian in Las Vegas
WEST CHESTER, Pa., Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Mole Street, an Elite HubSpot Solutions Partner and technology consultancy serving financial services firms, today announced it will co-present with HubSpot at Money20/20 USA in Las Vegas. The two companies will host a breakfast session for senior financial services leaders on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. PT at The Venetian, built around findings from The State of Financial Services Growth, the 2026 research report Mole Street and HubSpot produced together.
The report surveyed 270 U.S. financial services leaders across banks, credit unions, accounting firms, wealth managers, fintechs and investment firms, and it lands on a conclusion the industry has been slow to accept: the biggest obstacles to growth are internal. Leaders ranked difficulty proving the ROI of marketing and technology investments (30 percent) and fragmented or poor-quality data (30 percent) as the top barriers to their growth strategy, ahead of regulatory and compliance constraints (26 percent). Seventy-eight percent said organizational silos, disconnected systems and incomplete client data limit their ability to deliver a modern client experience, yet only half said their CRM is fully integrated with the systems that hold the rest of the client picture.
Other findings the session will cover include:
- Retention and acquisition are running neck and neck as top priorities, at 41 percent and 40 percent respectively, and personalized recommendations and communications are the hardest client expectation to meet.
- AI and automation have overtaken inflation, interest rates and regulation as the number one external force shaping growth strategy. Ninety-seven percent of firms are using AI today or plan to, but fewer than half have it fully operationalized across multiple functions.
- Advanced AI adopters are 68 percent more likely to report significant improvement in client retention over the past year, and 76 percent report full alignment across marketing, sales and client experience teams, compared with 58 percent overall.
- Leaders rank AI and CRM as the two investments most likely to improve their competitive position over the next 12 months, and the report finds the two compound when deployed together on unified client data.
The session
Zachary Jagentenfl, Solutions Architect at HubSpot, and Chris DiPetrio, Director of Solution Architecture of Mole Street, will co-present the session and take questions from the audience. The format pairs the research with real-world case studies from financial institutions that have connected their data and turned it into measurable growth, including Keesler Federal Credit Union, Mississippi's largest credit union, which gained full marketing autonomy after connecting its core banking data to HubSpot, and NQM Funding, which scaled from a regional lender to $4 billion in annual funding after unifying broker data and outreach on the platform.
Siloed to Connected: The FinServ Growth Model
Growth stalls when data, teams, and tools don't work together. HubSpot and Mole Street unpack findings from hundreds of FinServ leaders on how compliant CRM and agentic AI turn fragmented systems into measurable growth across retention, acquisition, and service.
"Money20/20 is where the people setting growth strategy for banks, credit unions, payments companies and fintechs all show up in one place, and the data says most of them are fighting the same problem," said Brendan Walsh, Co-Founder and CRO of Mole Street. "They have the clients, the data and the tools. What they do not have is a way to make those three work together. We built this session with HubSpot to show exactly how the firms that have solved that are doing it, using their own numbers and their own stories."
Mole Street helps financial services organizations implement HubSpot, migrate to it from legacy platforms and connect it to the core banking, practice management and operational data that marketing and sales teams need to grow revenue. The firm has led implementations for banks, credit unions, wealth managers and accounting firms that produce cleaner pipelines, real attribution and more revenue from existing relationships.
