ABILENE, Texas, Oct. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Natura Resources today announced that Christopher Abundis has joined the company as executive vice president and chief financial officer.
Abundis joins Natura as the company advances commercialization of its molten salt reactor technology and expands its organizational capabilities needed to support future growth.
"Chris brings financial, legal and strategic leadership experience that will be invaluable as Natura continues to grow," said Jordan Robison, chief executive officer of Natura Resources. "He is deeply experienced in helping to lead acquisitions, capital raises, shareholder engagement and transformational growth initiatives. We are excited to welcome him to the team."
Abundis brings more than 20 years of experience across corporate finance, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, governance and legal affairs. Natura has demonstrated an ability to turn advanced nuclear technology into something tangible, and I'm excited to help build on that momentum as we scale the company and move toward commercialization."
As chief financial officer, Abundis will oversee the company's financial strategy, capital structure, liquidity planning, accounting and financial reporting functions. He will also work closely with the executive team and board of directors on capital formation, project financing and strategic initiatives supporting deployment of Natura's reactor technologies.
Abundis holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in accounting from Texas A&M University and a Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law.
