Noninterest expense increased $5 million from the quarter ended June 30, 2026 due to the following reasons:

  • Non-personnel expense increased by $4 million due to an increase of $3 million in FDIC insurance premium expense, as the prior quarter included a benefit related to prior period assessment rate changes

The provision for income taxes increased by $16 million from the quarter ended September 30, 2025 and decreased $1 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 primarily due to the quarterly change in income before income taxes.
