FAIRFIELD, Conn., Oct. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Foundation Source, the leading provider of philanthropic solutions for donors, nonprofits, institutions, and the wealth advisors who serve them, today announced a partnership with the University of North Georgia (UNG) Foundation that has established the UNG Foundation DAF – the university's own fully branded donor-advised fund (DAF) program. Powered by Foundation Source and in partnership with DAF sponsor Charityvest, the program provides UNG alumni and supporters with a flexible, tax-efficient way to give back to the university and other qualified charities.

"Universities are increasingly looking for ways to enhance their fundraising strategies, and a branded DAF is one of the most effective tools for meeting donors where they are," said Stephen Kump, President of DAFs at Foundation Source and Founder of Charityvest. "We're proud to partner with the UNG Foundation to give alumni and supporters a simple, flexible way to support an institution they know and trust."

Through the UNG Foundation DAF, donors can open a charitable giving account, make tax-deductible contributions, invest them for potential growth, and recommend grants to the UNG Foundation alongside other charities they care about on their own timeline. Beyond cash and securities, the platform accepts complex assets including real estate, private equity, and other appreciated assets. Donors can also name the UNG Foundation as a beneficiary or designate family members or other successors, providing additional flexibility for long-term charitable planning.

"Our alumni and supporters are incredibly generous, and we want to make it as easy as possible for them to support UNG while pursuing their broader philanthropic goals," said Jeff Tarnowski, VP for Advancement at University of North Georgia and CEO at the UNG Foundation. "The UNG Foundation DAF gives donors greater flexibility in how and when they give, while creating another meaningful way for them to stay connected to the university and the causes that matter most to them."

The partnership follows a similar program Foundation Source and Charityvest launched with Temple University in November 2025, underscoring the organizations' ongoing commitment to equip institutions and donors with the tools, technology, and expertise to give more strategically and with greater impact.
