EmitenTrust.com NEW YORK, Oct. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Dechert LLP announced today that Isabella (Bella) Vecchio has joined the firm's capital solutions team as a partner in its New York office, reuniting with team leader Leo Klingbaum, partner Jennifer Harris and four associates. The arrival of Ms. Vecchio and the new associates further expands the team and strengthens the firm's capabilities in special situations financing matters.

"Bringing Bella on board marks another important step for the capital solutions platform we launched earlier this year," said Mark Thierfelder, co-chair of Dechert. "She has built a strong reputation representing sponsors and credit funds on some of the market's most complex financings. Bella bolsters an area of strategic priority for the firm while complementing the expanding bench we already have in place."

"Bella is a natural fit for the capital solutions team," said Jay Alicandri, co-chair of Dechert's corporate and securities practice. "Her work with a sophisticated roster of private equity sponsors and credit funds in bespoke financings, syndicated credit facilities, and acquisition finance matters makes her an immediate asset as we continue to scale this platform."

Ms. Vecchio has extensive experience advising private credit providers and private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in a broad range of financing transactions, including acquisition financings, asset-based financings, second lien credit facilities, syndicated credit facilities, dividend recapitalizations and special situations financings. Before beginning her career in the United States, Ms. Vecchio practiced in Australia, where she focused on finance matters in the oil and gas, coal and construction industries.

"Dechert has quickly built a market-leading capital solutions platform, and I am excited to rejoin a team and a firm with deep experience across the capital stack," said Ms. Vecchio. "Having worked alongside Leo for nearly five years, I know the strength of the practice we are building together, and I look forward to contributing to its continued growth."

Ms. Vecchio is among more than 50 lateral partners the firm has welcomed this year, reflecting the firm's strategic goal of strengthening capabilities across its steeples of excellence in litigation, investment management, finance and restructuring, capital markets and securitization, and mergers and acquisitions.
